A habitation service is a safety and condition check of a motorhome's living area, separate from the mechanical MOT. It covers damp readings, gas system and appliances, mains and 12-volt electrics, ventilation, water systems and the bodywork. A recent habitation certificate is strong reassurance when buying used.
