Motorhomes and campervans are DVLA-registered vehicles, so they use a normal history check covering stolen, finance, write-off and mileage from the registration. Touring caravans have no registration plate or DVLA record, so that check does not apply; they use the separate CRiS register and its 17-digit number instead.
