Imported motorhomes can offer good value, but they need extra care. A UK history check will show an import marker, but the vehicle's overseas history may not be fully recorded here. Check whether it is left-hand drive, that it was properly registered and taxed in the UK, and that habitation systems meet UK gas and electrical standards.

That it has a valid UK registration, V5C and MOT.
Gas and electrical systems certified to UK standards.
Parts and servicing availability for the base vehicle and habitation kit.

Gaps in the record

A UK history check covers the UK record. Time spent abroad may not show mileage or write-off events from that country, so an import with a thin UK history deserves an extra-careful inspection.
