The same checks as a motorhome
Whether it is a factory campervan or a converted van, if it has a registration plate and a V5C it can be checked against DVLA, DVSA and Experian records for stolen markers, outstanding finance, write-off history and mileage.
Converted vans
Many campervans are self-build or professional conversions. The history check covers the base vehicle's records. For a conversion, also check the quality of the work, gas safety and any body-type change recorded on the V5C.
